Karditsa
The prefecture of Karditsa is found in south-west of Thessaly. It is a planted all over area, full in forests and idyllic landscapes. One of the most famous sites in the area is the artificial lake of Tavropos or lake of Nikolaos Plastiras. The lake supplies the hydroelectric power station of Tavropos and the plain of the prefecture. 
Tempi is one from the most famous turning-points for those who travel from Thessalonica for various destinations to Thessaly. It is a magical place, drowned in the green winter summertime with running waters that gush and the church of Saint Paraskevi in the centre, it accepts the visitors pilgrims at tens each day.
